Updating your Payment Method: Frequently Asked Questions

Last Update setahun yang lalu

We understand you might want to update your payment method before your free trial ends. Unfortunately, our system can only process payment method updates when a payment is due. This helps ensure a smooth and secure experience for all our users.

Here's why we handle updates this way:

  • Security: Updating payment information often requires verification with your financial institution. Processing updates prematurely could lead to potential security risks.
  • Simplicity: Linking updates directly to upcoming payments avoids confusion and ensures you only have one active payment method on file at a time.
  • Accuracy: It helps ensure your payment method is valid and up-to-date when it matters most - when your subscription needs to be renewed.
What this means for you:
  • You can enjoy your free trial for 14 days without needing to worry about payment information.
  • Once your free trial ends, you'll be prompted to enter your payment details before continuing your subscription. This is when you can update your payment method if needed.

Alternative solutions:

  • If you want to use a different payment method but your free trial hasn't ended yet:
    • You can wait until your free trial ends and update your payment information during the subscription renewal process.
    • Alternatively, Navigate to My Account.. My Subscriptions.  From there you can select 'Change Billing' and select No Trial.  That will allow you to checkout and update your payment method.  NOTE: You will no longer participate in the free trial.
  • If you have concerns about your current payment method's validity:
    • Rest assured, your payment information is securely stored and not processed until your free trial ends.
    • When the payment is due, you'll have the opportunity to update your information before finalizing the payment.

We appreciate your understanding and hope this clarifies how payment method updates work within our system. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
