The Issue
You may experience issues on our website where:
- The "Pay" or "Submit" button does not respond when clicked.
- Payment fields (like credit card inputs) fail to load or appear missing.
- The page continually refreshes or hangs during checkout.
This is often caused by Brave Shields, a built-in feature of the Brave Browser designed to block ads and trackers. Occasionally, Brave Shields may incorrectly identify our secure payment processors or application forms as "trackers," preventing them from loading correctly.
Solution: Disable Shields for This SiteThe quickest fix is to turn off Brave Shields specifically for our website. This does not lower your security; it simply allows our necessary payment scripts to run.
Step-by-Step Instructions:- Locate the Lion Icon:
Look at the top right of your address bar (where the URL is) and find the orange Lion icon (the Brave Shields icon). - Open the Shields Menu:
Click the icon to open the Shields panel. - Toggle Shields OFF:
You will see a toggle switch next to the text "Shields are UP for [our website]." Click the toggle to switch it to DOWN (Off). - Refresh the Page:
The page should automatically reload. If it does not, please manually refresh the page. - Retry Your Action:
Attempt to fill out the payment details or submit the form again.
If you prefer to keep Shields active, you can try adjusting the cookie settings, though this is less guaranteed to fix the issue.
- Click the Lion icon in the address bar.
- Click Advanced controls (if the menu is collapsed).
- Change the "Block cookies" setting to "Allow all cookies".
- The page will reload; try your transaction again.
- Open a Private Window: Click the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right and select "New Private Window." Try the transaction there.
- Clear Cache: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data and clear "Cached images and files."
